Keith‘s practice is focussed on helping clients navigate a broad range of business problems. Much of his practice is in the area of civil and commercial litigation, advising and representing clients in corporate and business disputes, class actions, and regulatory and administrative law matters. He also practices in the area of transportation law.
Keith has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Federal Court of Canada, the Tax Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Keith has also appeared as counsel before various administrative tribunals and has served as an inquest coroner and as coroner’s counsel in inquest hearings that are conducted before a jury.
As part of his transportation law practice, Keith has experience advising motor carriers, bus companies, courier companies, and railways in general business, regulatory, and litigation matters affecting transportation operations. Keith is a member and former director of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association (US), and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in the area of transportation law.
Keith is a member of the Saskatchewan bar and an inactive member of the British Columbia bar, and has published articles on a number of legal subjects appearing in various law journals.
