Paul H.A. Korpan, K.C.

Paul is an experienced litigator, practising primarily in the areas of family law, estate litigation, and civil litigation.

Paul has argued cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan. He has extensive experience in the family law area, and regularly represents clients on separation, divorce, custody and parenting arrangements, spousal and child support, property division, adoptions, and other family law issues.

Paul has particular experience with complex property division cases involving pensions, farms, and business interests.

Paul has significant experience in planning and concluding pre-marital and post-marital agreements, and related estate plans.

Paul also works as a mediator of family law matters.

Paul has been a frequent presenter at family law and ethics training seminars for lawyers. He has presented at and participated in programs of the National Judicial Institute.

Paul is listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Family Law. Paul is also recognized in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Family Law. He is recognized in the 2021 Best Lawyers Business Global Edition.

Paul is a Past President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and the former Chair of the Saskatchewan Police Commission. He is a recipient of the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan, Distinguished Service Award.

Paul is a Director of the Saskatchewan Scouting Foundation, a Councillor of the Resort Village of B Say Tah, and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Lakeview United Church.
