Devon Sletten

Devon is an associate with Kanuka Thuringer LLP in the Swift Current office.  He carries on a general practice in the areas of litigation, family law, agri-business, and residential real estate.

Devon has experience preparing written and oral submissions to Saskatchewan courts.  He has appeared before the Provincial Court in Small Claims matters and the Court of Queen’s Bench.

Born in Swift Current and raised in Hazlet, Devon has strong ties to southwest Saskatchewan.  He comes from a farming family and he continues to help with the farming operation.

Devon earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2021.  Prior to studying law, Devon completed his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan.

Devon joined Kanuka Thuringer LLP in 2019 as a summer student, returning in 2020 for a second summer, and in 2021 as an articling student.  Devon is now an associate lawyer after being called to the Bar in July 2022.
