Born and raised in the Southwest, Scott joined the Swift Current office of Kanuka Thuringer LLP in 2024 after a decade of practice in downtown Toronto.
Scott practices exclusively in the area of dispute resolution. He has appeared successfully before all levels of court in Ontario, various administrative tribunals, and participated in leave applications in the Supreme Court of Canada. He represents clients primarily in complex and high-conflict disputes arising from separation and divorce.
Scott has been a frequent speaker at conferences and professional development events and has authored or co-authored several papers, primarily on topics related to family law. He is a member of the Law Societies of Saskatchewan (2024) and Ontario (2014), and the Canadian Bar Association. He has served in leadership roles on the boards of several community organizations and provided pro bono legal services through the Luke’s Place Virtual Legal Clinic program and the Amicus Duty Counsel program at the Ontario Court of Appeal.
