Isaac is a litigator. He maintains a broad civil litigation practice focusing on complex corporate, commercial, and partnership disputes whether in negotiations, court, or arbitration. He has a keen interest in cases involving conflicts of law, unjust enrichment, or breach of fiduciary duty, but also advises on public law and constitutional matters. From bet-the-farm litigation to routine business disputes, Isaac is a fierce advocate and trusted advisor for his clients.
Prior to returning home to Saskatchewan, Isaac was practicing with a top-ranked commercial litigation group at a national firm in Vancouver following a clerkship at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 2020-21. Before practicing law, Isaac spent several years working on drilling rigs in the oilfields of Western Canada, completed his graduate studies in international relations at the London School of Economics, and worked in construction during his undergraduate studies in History at the University of Saskatchewan, where he graduated at the top of his class with the highest overall academic average for the Humanities. Isaac’s blue-collar background provides him with a unique perspective on construction and oil and gas disputes.
