Paul practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, employment and labour law, builders’ liens and construction law, insurance, creditor rights, and insolvency litigation.
Paul has appeared as counsel in hearings, trials and appeals before all levels of court in Saskatchewan as well as in the Federal Court of Canada, Tax Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Paul’s representation of employers in labour law matters under The Saskatchewan Employment Act has also seen him appear before arbitration tribunals and the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board. Paul has also conducted a number of workplace harassment investigations.
Paul is a former co-chair of the Civil Litigation South Section of the Canadian Bar Association. His extensive experience and expertise in construction law and The Builders’ Lien Act has seen him deliver a number of legal education seminars and lectures in that area to public, legal, and business groups.
