T. Micheal McDougall
PROFILEPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Micheal conducts a corporate and commercial law practice in the land and resources practice group. His focus is on business and commercial law, property law, oil and gas, potash, energy and natural resources and environmental law.
Micheal advises clients on sales and acquisitions, reorganizations, financings, leasing, permitting and regulatory and environmental compliance in the business, and energy and natural resources.
Micheal’s experience in natural resources and environmental law includes having served as general counsel to Saskatchewan Water Corporation and Saskatchewan Watershed Authority (predecessor to Saskatchewan Water Security Agency).
Micheal was for several years a director of the then Canadian Association of Family Enterprise-Regina Chapter which was a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the well-being and understanding of families in business.
Micheal is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Natural Resources Law. He has lectured at professional and industry seminars on water regulation and environmental law issues.
