Lindsay carries on a general practice of law, with a focus on family law, wills and estates, and civil litigation.
A large portion of Lindsay’s practice involves assisting clients with all family-related matters including divorce, separation, parenting issues, child support, spousal support, distribution of property, adoption matters and pre-nuptial contracts. She has experience negotiating and drafting interspousal contracts and separation agreements, tailored to each client’s respective needs. She has dealt with complex property settlements involving large company assets, farm companies, and significant debt. She has experience presenting matters at the chambers level, at the trial level, and on appeal. She has also resolved all kinds of family-related issues at pre-trial conferences or through mediation.
Lindsay’s wills and estate practice involves preparing wills, power of attorneys and health care directives, as well as completing probate and administration applications for clients. She also has experience in estate litigation matters, including issues relating to division of assets and spousal relationships.
Lindsay’s civil litigation practice has taken her in front of all levels of court in Saskatchewan, including the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal. She has successfully argued at all three levels and has pursued all types of litigation matters, such as negligence cases and breach of contract cases, including the recovery of debts.
Lindsay also has experience managing real estate transactions and corporate matters, including incorporations and transactions.
